聖誕快樂？
今年好像多了基督徒在意要爭取維持說《聖誕快樂》而非《假期快樂》的權利和空間。這是好的。
但容許我問多一句：我們真的想說《聖誕快樂》嗎？
我的意思是，在聖誕時，《聖誕快樂》真的是基督徒的最佳祝願嗎？
在聖經中或我們各種的屬靈傳統中，快樂從來不佔重要的位置。我們這社會，太過被追求快樂的氣氛感染。快樂不快樂成為了人生活質素的最高指標。這是一種人性的扭曲。太多人的困擾來自他們對快樂的錯誤期望。
聖誕，真的要快樂嗎？還是該有更值得給予別人的祝福？
PS. According to Webster, the word "merry" means "showing high spirits or lightheartedness", suggests "cheerful, joyous, uninhibited enjoyment of frolic or festivity." And the word "frolic" means, in another dictionary, "play about with someone in a flirtatious or sexual way" when it is used as a verb.

I don't think the point is 得唔得, but let's think about it.
I think that the pursuit of happiness is a sort of slavery.
Some people want a happy life. Even many Christians want to have that..
But when you look at Jesus' life, the one that we are to follow. 耶穌上十字架的路是不開心的。
