莊嚴
早幾天星屑醫生在blog內提到了母校的早會，嘩，令許多的回憶湧了上來。
Assembly的形式基本上和以前沒有兩樣，開始的時候由 Head prefect 喊「Stand~」，全場學生站立，然後主席老師，負責 bible reading 的 Prefect，嘉賓和校長等就一行人從中間直走進場上台。
我想那一聲「Stand~」算是我們學校舊生的集體回憶吧！我想，沒有一個學生不被那雄壯莊嚴的「Stand~」震懾，然後幻想有一天能成為Head Prefect站在那裡喊「Stand~」...
不錯，早會是莊嚴的。早幾天，豪仔在blog中提到崇拜的娛樂化，甚有同感。這一代的年青人，有機會經歷莊嚴但沒有娛樂性的敬拜嗎？

I think most people do not explicitly think that "worship must be entertaining". Rather, I somehow find that many people think that worship must be "joyful", but they don't understand what "joyful" is. Most people think 莊嚴 implies "not joyful". To me, "joyfulness" is when you are wrapped in an overwhelming sense of God's presence, whether it's through lively song or awe-filled adoration or quiet meditation.

What about sermons? The fact is that Chinese worship services tend to revolve around the sermon.
